The Mayor’s Fund for Education seeks to join private, public, philanthropic, and civic resources to address the most pressing education issues facing Long Beach students. Our focus is to improve college and career readiness, increase access to college and degree attainment for students to produce a stronger workforce for our community.
Building on Long Beach’s award winning seamless Pre-K–20 partnership, the Long Beach College Promise, The Mayor’s Fund for Education will advance Long Beach Mayor, Robert Garcia’s cradle-to-career approach to ensure all students have access to educational pathways and careers resulting in a thriving local economy.
